He’s wearing a bright yellow cloak and half of a white mask, nothing but complete darkness is beneath them. Arthur in front of him is also facing in his general direction.]

John: JESUS CHRIST Arthur, it looks like UPDOG in here
Arthur: What? What’s updog?

[the second panel is just John’s face, his mask angled downwards to give the impression he Is staring at Arthur. Arthur speaks to him out of frame.]

Arthur: …John? John, what’s updog? [underlined as though he is now commanding and not asking.] John.

[The final panel is still Johns’s face but now he is looking at the audience like he’s in The Office (the tv show)]

Arthur (still out of frame): …..John?

Oh! Oh gosh!!!! I love this so much? The thought hadn’t occurred to me that people could view him more eldritch, he’s sort of Just A Guy, but oh!!!! This is SUCH a cool design I am FASCINATED I’m going to rotate this in my head for a few days.

Exploring what Shub Niggurath and Hastur may look like. 💕 Sky is the limit when it comes to horror and I had a ton of fun adding limbs and bits to both of these.

Lookit Hastur he so itty bitty at 8ft tall our short king 👑

I feel like, compared to the other outer gods, Hastur is one who likes to be Extra and I love that for him.

Meanwhile, Shub is that vodka aunt who is still friends with all her exes and loves to talk down at Hastur when they’re in the same room.

True to his character, Yellow kept fighting me with this one. I’d put it down as an abandoned idea but luckily @lacetop urged me to finish it and I’m really glad they did. Got to throw in some flower and tarot symbolismmm, too.

I had a blast trying out a new coloring/shading combo on this and I quite like the end result. 😌
